Italic character spacing has become more unbalanced in 1.3 #339

Description

The positioning of characters in their character cells in the italic font variants seems to have changed in version 1.3 of Monaspace compared to 1.2, causing certain character pairs to look extremely mis-kerned in the italic fonts when they looked reasonable before.

The below shows a selection of phrases from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights set in the 1.2 and 1.3 versions of Monaspace Argon Italic, respectively. Note, for instance, how wide the spacing of Wh, in, ig, and th have become, and how tightly spaced pe and pl are in comparison:

The text 'Whereas ... the inherent dignity ... of the common people' typeset in two versions of Monaspace Argon Italic
