  1. % weighted proportion of respondents who reported each outcome, SE standard error of proportion, n1 unweighted number of respondents who reported the outcome, n2 unweighted number of respondents (unemployment) or person-years (homelessness & suicide attempt) in the total sample, including those who did and those who did not report the outcome.
  2. aOnly point prevalence was assessed for unemployment (i.e., currently unemployed at the time of survey), whereas retrospectively reported interval prevalence was assessed for the other outcomes, allowing an analysis of the other outcomes in a person-year survival framework, thereby accounting for the much larger numbers of observations in n2 for the other outcomes.
  3. bThe denominator sample sizes are for samples of individual respondents in the rows for unemployment, but for person-years in the rows for the other outcomes. Denominator samples for the first year after leaving service differ for homelessness and suicide attempt due to missing values. See the Methods section for details.
