Stoke City have signed two wingers on deadline day, with Ato Ampah joining from Chelsea for what is believed to be a seven-figure fee, and Crystal Palace forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi arriving on loan until the end of the season.
Ampah has represented England at Under-18 and Under-20 levels and his one senior appearance for Chelsea, in a Europa Conference League group-phase match against Astana, earned him a winner's medal.
The 19-year-old, who has 19 goals and 18 assists for Chelsea's academy sides in 41 starts, has signed a contract until 2029.
Stoke sporting director Jonathan Walters said:, external "He has a really strong mentality and, as a fast, dynamic winger, he is the type of player who can get you off your seat.
"He fits the profile of player we want in wide areas for Stoke City."
Rak-Sakyi has been with the Eagles since signing youth terms in April 2021, making six Premier League appearances for the south London outfit.
But the majority of his career to date has involved loans away from Selhurst Park, including full seasons at Charlton and Sheffield United, and he spent the first half of this campaign with Caykur Rizespor in the Turkish top flight.
Winger Rak-Sakyi passed 100 career appearances during his latest loan and brings plenty of experience to the Bet365 Stadium as the Potters push for the play-offs.
Stoke sporting director Jonathan Walters told the club website, external they had been tracking the former England Under-21 international with a January bid in mind.
"Having identified Jesurun as a target prior to the transfer window, we are now delighted to make him a Stoke City player for the season's final third," said Walters.
"He has provided goals and assists throughout his career to date, including in last season's Championship for Sheffield United, when he was a standout forward player.
"The way he plays the game is exciting and direct so I'm sure our supporters will quickly take to him."
