Fleetwood sign Manchester United defender Bennett
Rhys Bennett made 35 League One appearances for Fleetwood Town last season

Fleetwood Town have signed former loan defender Rhys Bennett from Premier League side Manchester United on a two-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old had two loan spells with the Cod Army last season, during which he made a total of 38 appearances and scored two goals.
In addition to his time with Fleetwood, Bennett also had a six-month loan spell with Stockport County in 2024.
He returns to Highbury having captained Manchester United's under-21 side this season.
