  • Add a section about which versions and branches are under active development
  • Provide links to download the latest version, get commercial support from HeroDevs, or learn more about our version support
  • Switch header format to be more consistent with our other markdown files
  • Lint JS code

@timmywil can you also have a look at #5564? It updates CONTRIBUTING.md and some of the changes are related to ones from this PR, some seem duplicated, etc. In some cases, duplication may be fine, but it'd be good to make sure those two files are aligned.

Yeah, I'm okay with the duplication. Both files look okay to me.
