New programme launched to boost start-up firms

New businesses in Wolverhampton can access to free support in a new programme launched by the council.

As part of the Ignite your Business scheme, workshops will be hosted at the Access to Business Social Enterprise Centre on Wednesday and Thursday with more to come in March.

The sessions will be tailored around helping with a number of topics including business plan development, enhancing leadership skills and local recruitment.

Chris Burden, cabinet member for city development said: "This programme will give entrepreneurs a solid business plan, excellent support, and the tools to adapt to and overcome changing market conditions to achieve success."
