Abi Reed from Peebles took this photo during a visit to Botanic Gardens in Glasgow. "We caught an amazing sunset from inside just before the doors closed giving the whole palace an ethereal feel."

Castle Stalker almost perfectly mirrored in the water of Loch Laich near Port Appin. This photo was sent in by Robert Westerman who said: "To the eye, it looked like a summer's day, but the sharp chill in the air reflected a different story."
