Former Winter Olympian Lesley McKenna has been appointed a director of Cairngorm Mountain (Scotland) Ltd (CMSL).
The company operates Cairngorm Mountain snowsports centre near Aviemore.
In 2002, Ms McKenna became the first person from the UK to compete in snowboarding at a Winter Olympics and she went on to lead GB teams that won bronze medals in the 2014 and 2018 games.
She will join new chairman Mark Tate and another new director, Alistair Todd, on the board in January.
Mr Tate, former chief executive of the Cairngorms Business Partnership, will succeed Peter Mearns who has served in the role for seven years.
Mr Todd is snowsports director at Mountaineering Scotland.
